Dawn Renee Snyder

Dawn Renee Snyder, age 61, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, passed from this life on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Hospice of the Panhandle. 

Born on November 22, 1962, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Dale Wayne Stevens, Sr. and Frances Maxine (Marshall) Tennant, and she was the wife of the late Keith S. "Red" Snyder, Sr.

Dawn was a graduate of Boonsboro High School class of 1980.

She is survived by her sons, Keith S. Snyder, Jr. and Damien Stephens of Shepherdstown; sisters, Teresa Y. Keebaugh of Shepherdstown and April E. Hilliard and husband, Johnny, of Falling Waters; and brother, Gregory L. Stevens of Shepherdstown; niece, Amanda Lynn Johnson and husband, Josh, and many nieces, nephews and friends; and her faithful companion, Cinder. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lynn Snyder; brother, Dale Wayne Stevens, Jr.; and a sister, Karen Sue Stevens. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

A celebration of Dawn's life journey will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. Rev. Terry E. Marshall will officiate. Burial will be held at Manor Church Cemetery near Tilghmanton.
