David Matthew Watson

Mr. David Matthew Watson, 43, of Frederick, beloved father, son, and brother, entered into the loving arms of his Savior on Tuesday, June 5th, 2007.

Born in Frederick, MD on December 2, 1963, David was cabinet maker by trade. An avid outdoors man and accomplished woodworker, David's most enjoyable times in his life were spent with his children and family.

Survivors include his two children, Nathan and Breanna Watson; his mother Carol Kettells Watson and companion Steven Jones; his father Charles D. Watson and companion Carol Wilkens; his two step children, Jeremiah Kelly and wife Aimee, and Heather True; his two brothers, Charles Watson and wife Karen, and Mark Watson; nieces and nephews Shannon and husband Isaac, Joshua and wife Veronica, Wyatt, Mark Wayne, Lindsey, Desiraie, Malachi, Bishop, and Madelynn; aunts and uncles, Diane and Larry Redmond and family, Jan and Heinz Conrad and family, Dennis Watson and family, Bill Watson and family, and Carol and Roy Degrange and families. David will also be remembered by numerous other family members and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Riley; nephews, Richie and Michael; uncle Richard Kettells, maternal grandparents Easter and Warren Kettells; and paternal grandparents Mildred and Drainie Watson.


Visitation: The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 until 8 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, MD

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dave Dormer officiating. Burial will follow in Glade Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, for those desiring, a trust fund has been set up in the names of David's two children, Nathan and Breanna, contributions may be sent to the David M. Watson Memorial Fund, First United Bank & Trust, P.O. Box 89 Main Street, Myersville, MD 21733.
