David Anthony Divead Weedon

Mr. David Anthony Divead Weedon, 52 of Laurel, MD departed this life on December 11, 2009.

Born May 29, 1957, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Weedon, Sr., and Clara Weedon and godson of George Hackey, Sr. and Doris Hackey of Clarksburg, MD.

He was the husband of Margaret Colden of Fayetteville, GA. Mr. Weedon was a 1975 graduate of Frederick High School, earned a B.Arch. in architecture from Hampton University and an MBA from The University of Illinois Champaign. He was the founder and president of Donwe Investments Group Inc., Donwe Companies Inc., and Noddex Investors Group. Divead was a member of Sharp Street United Methodist Church in Sandy Spring, MD and a Lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Ashleigh Weedon, daughter to Pamela Weedon, daughter, Amanda Stanfield and son, Travis Stanfield, children to his wife, two sisters, Vickie Weedon of Frederick, MD, J. Rene Taylor and husband Nathan of Laurel, MD, brothers, Charles Weedon, Jr. and wife Lisa of Gaithersburg, MD, Ronald Weedon, Sr., and Rick Weedon of Frederick., MD. He is also survived by numerous devoted family members and friends.

Services: The family will receive family and friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at which time there will be a memorial service.
