David Matthew "Dave" Snyder, 41, of Dogstreet Road, Keedysville, Md. died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 27, 1967 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Jackie Wayne and Elva Sue Moats Snyder of Boonsboro.
He had been employed for 20 years by Custom Siding in Frederick.
He was a member of Church of God Universal.
He is survived by his wife, Bretta F. Heath Snyder, whom he married January 30, 2007; one daughter, Amber N. Snyder of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; two sons, Matthew D. Snyder of Boonsboro and Dalton M. Snyder at home; one brother, Charles W. Snyder of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; two sisters, Frances S. Etzler of Boonsboro and Patty L. Darr of Waynesboro, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 5 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A. in Boonsboro. Pastor Greg Tyler will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Locust Grove.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
