David William Smallwood, 66, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at his home in Thurmont. Born on January 14, 1954, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Berry and Helen (Frahme) Smallwood.
He was a good-hearted man and loved helping people. He served in the military as a Marine. He was an Auto Mechanic for 30 plus years. He turned his life over to the Lord and was an active member of the church. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge for many years. He enjoyed time at the beach, cook outs, movies and car racing. He loved to make people laugh and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristy Davis; his ex-wife, Marlene Smallwood; and sister, Linda Jones. He is survived by many grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by many. Thank you for always being there for me and others. I will always love and miss you, your daughter Kristy. Fly free dad you finally got your wings! Dad, you are our angel. Rest in peace, we love you!
Viewing and interment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick.
