David Minnick

David Wayne Minnick, 46, of Boonsboro, Maryland, died suddenly on Friday, June 18, 2010.

Born on September 13, 1963 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he is the son of William H. and Pauline C. (Dick) Minnick of Boonsboro.

David was a 1981 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

He was employed as a Welder with Global Engineering in Frederick, Maryland.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and bowling on his league at Turner Lanes on Dual Highway.  He was an avid Nascar Fan and loved spending time with his children and family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three children, Erin R., Leanne B. and Bryon A. Minnick, all of St. Line, Pennsylvania; and his brother, Steven A. Minnick and his wife Karen of Boonsboro.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.  Pastor Gary W. Getridge will officiate.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery at San Mar, near Boonsboro.

Friends are invited to visit beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m.
