David McGrogan

d. May 16, 2015

Mr. David McGrogan, 60, of Keedysville, MD passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Baltimore, MD surrounded by his family.

Dave grew up in Gaithersburg, MD. He later moved to Keedysville, and loved life up on the mountain. He is survived by his wife Debbie, his mother Shirley, his sister Cindy, his children Shannon (Xavier Twine, Sr.), Mark (Minor), Caitlin and Sean, his grandsons Xavier Jr. and Joey (Twine), and his dog Belle. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph, his brothers Gary and Kevin, and dogs Max and Nala.

Dave was a very unique man with a laidback personality. He loved riding his Harleys with his motorcycle family. He was a diehard fan of the Redskins and the Fighting Irish. He would spend hours in the garage and loved every minute of it. You could spot him anywhere in his famous Hawaiian shirts.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, May 30, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where services will begin at 2pm. After the funeral, we will be celebrating Dave’s life at the Moose Lodge of Frederick.
