David Krug

David Arthur Krug, 51, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home.
Born on August 30, 1965, in Landsthul, West Germany the son of Raymond Krug and Sue (Turner) Krug.
David graduated from Edgewood Regional Senior High and attended Towson University.
David grew up as a military brat, living in Oklahoma, Japan and New Jersey before putting down his roots here in Maryland. After running the health facility at John's Hopkins in Baltimore, he settled in Frederick, where he owned and operated Oldies Music Legends and Krug's Place with his father, Ray. Through his tavern he was involved in local dart and pool leagues. David was an avid soccer player, coaching and playing throughout his life, especially as goalie, even when raining, because "a little mud never hurt anyone." His passion for sports was matched only by his passion for people. He leaves behind a bevy of friends who will miss him dearly.
David is survived by his parents, Raymond and Sue Krug; wife, Laurie Krug; sons, Alex and Nathan and his brothers, Chip and Michael.
A Memorial service will be held at the AmVets Post#9, 408 W. Green Street Middletown, MD 21769, on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 11am  to 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Way Station of Frederick County.
