Mr. David Harley Karschner, 30, of Mt. Airy died unexpectedly Friday.
Born October 6, 1985 in Silver Spring, he was the son of Beth Ann (Stasny) Reynolds of Mt. Airy and Arnold L. "Shorty" Karschner of Daphne, Ala.
He was a mechanic who loved driving tow trucks and was currently working in roadside service. He loved spending time with his 7-year-old son, Aiden, and his 3 dogs. David enjoyed going to the races, the skate park and gardening.
In addition to his parents and son, he is survived by his step-father, Al Pickering of Mt. Airy; step-mother, Jennifer Karschner of Daphne, Ala.; a sister, Samantha Yingling and husband, Travis, of Westminster; a brother, Kevin Fox, of Orlando, FL; nephew, Riley Yingling; his grandmother, Marianne Stasny of Dagsboro, DE; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He also will be remembered by Aiden's mother, Mindi Myers.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, with a funeral service to begin at 7 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May.
Interment will be private.
