David Marshall Forsyth

David Marshall Forsyth, 67, of Hagerstown, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Born on August 27, 1957 in Sykesville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert Henry Forsyth, Sr, and Doris Audrey Dixon Forsyth. He was married June 18, 1982 to Sharon Elizabeth Davis, who departed this world on October 29, 2010. 

He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.

He is survived by three children, daughter, Nicole Lewis, sons, David Michael Forsyth, and Justin Marshall Forsyth; three grandchildren, Courtney (Devyn) Hutchinson, Clark Hambleton, Jr. and Brittney Hambleton; five great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kamryn, Karsyn, Avery, and Jordyn; and one special person, considered to be his third son, Jason (Leigh) Priecko, with his two sons, Jackson and Tyson; brother, Michael Forsyth; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lydia and William Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "Bobby" Forsyth, Jr. and William "Billy" Forsyth.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 108 East Franklin Street in Hagerstown with Pastor Steve Humphrey officiating.
