David Fisher

David John Andrew Fisher passed away peacefully at his home on April 8, 2014. He was the husband of 60 years to Pauline D. Fisher, who preceded him in death in December, 2013. David was born in 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Towson State University and was briefly in the Marine.Corps. He obtained his Masters in Guidance from Florida State University and was a guidance counselor for 22 years both at Catoctin High School and Middletown High School, before retiring in 1990. He enjoyed playing poker, was an avid BALTIMORE Colts fan, being a charter member of the Colts Corral # 12, and never met a crab, shrimp, scallop, oyster or lobster he didn't like. He was also an enthusiastic Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles fan. Spending as much time as possible at the beach was also a favorite pastime. He is survived by his daughter, Kendi L. Patterson, of Thurmont, MD. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frederick Union Rescue Mission at 419 West South Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
