David Lawrence Buete, Jr. (Dave/Davy), 57 of New Windsor, MD. passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home with his beloved dog, Dixie , by his side.
Born January 7, 1965, he was the son David Lawrence Buete, Sr. and Pauline Buete.
David grew up in Burtonsville, MD but moved to Mt Airy, MD in 1989 where he later went on to own his own business, Mt Airy Service Center, in downtown Mt Airy. Many thanked him for being a great mentor sharing his mechanical skills working with cars. He had a passion of gardening, music, cars, drag racing, and being with the ones who loved him. He enjoyed getting together for cook outs, swimming, and of course “Maryland Blue Crabs!” Many of his friends said he was a loyal and dependable friend who had impact on their lives that could not be measured. He will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Buete) Disney; son, Zachary Buete; son-in-law, Jarred Disney, three grandchildren, Annabelle Disney, Chancelor Disney, and Miles Disney; cousins, Terri Buete, Lani Buete Gunn, Lori Buete Havemeier; many uncles, aunts, and countless lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Cheston “Chet” Buete, grandmother, Mary Lauterbach; grandfather, George Lauterbach; grandmother, Irma Buete, and grandfather Everett Buete.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, Maryland 21771 from 11:00am-12:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Rev. Tim May officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor to the American Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
