Darlo Mae Weddle

Mrs. Darlo Mae Weddle of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, June 29, 2023.  She was the wife of the late James Edward Weddle. 

Born in Washington Co., MD  she was the daughter of the late Roy Glenn and Iona Mae (House) Routzahn.

Mrs. Weddle was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Frederick, the United Methodist Women's Society, the Frederick Co. Humane Society of which she served on the Board of Directors, and numerous national humane organizations for which she worked for the rights and welfare for animals, and a member of the American Rose Society.

Darlo has worked in food service for many years and was known locally for her baking talents.  She had been employed by Mrs. Byron D. White, most recently. 

She is survived by son, Terence Edward Weddle; two sisters, Marlene F. Moser and Sharlyn K. Doyle and brother, Glenn Harvey Routzahn and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her son James E. Weddle. 

Services and interment will be private.
