Daniel Waring, Sr.

“ Daniel passed away on Thursday November 19th, 2015. He was a resident of Clarksburg, MD at the time of his passing.

Daniel was born in Queens, New York September 2nd, 1950 and was the son of Herbert Waring and Nicolene (LaGreco) Waring.

Daniel joined the Marine Corps in July of 1970. After serving in the Marines, he served the Prince George County Sheriff’s Department as a Sheriff, and then the Montgomery County Police Department in 1974. He served his department and community for 38 years until retirement as a Lieutenant in 2012.

Daniel is survived by his daughter Jennifer Petty & husband Jason Petty, and 2 grandchildren Mabel and Violet. Son Daniel Waring Jr. & wife Samantha Waring. Sister Diane Venezia & husband William Venezia Sr. His nephews William Venezia Jr. and family, & Michael Venezia and family.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, learning about history, and spending time with his friends on the Delaware coast.

Visitation will be held Monday November 30th 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Damascus Maryland from 10:00am to 11:00am. Memorial Mass will commence at 11:00am with a reception to follow.
