Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones, 75, of West Hempstead, NY, passed away on January 10, 2024, in Walkersville, MD. He was born on January 27, 1948. Dan was the most loving and caring Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He touched the lives of so many, from fighting addiction to assisting other veterans.

Dan is survived by his sisters, Patricia, Mary Ann, and Barbara, his son Colin Jones, his daughter Kate Jones, his grandchildren Alizae, Arianna, Kya, and DJ, and his great-grandchildren Aleyah, Jasper, and Armani.

Dan proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the Army from 1968 to 1969. He was a true military hero.

After his military service, Dan pursued a career as a Master Electrician with IBEW Local 26. He was highly skilled and dedicated to his profession.

In his free time, Dan had a love for classic cars and enjoyed listening to all genres of music. He was a big family man and cherished spending time with his loved ones.

A memorial service to honor Dan's life will be held on January 27 from 12 to 4 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville. The caring staff at Stauffer Funeral Home will be assisting with the arrangements.

We will forever remember Daniel Jones as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a dedicated veteran, and a skilled electrician. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
