Dale W. Hughes

Dale W. Hughes, 81, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Charlotte's Home in Maugansville, MD. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Hughes for 9 years. 

Born on August 30, 1942, in MD he was the son of the late Wilbur and Eva Hughes. 

Dale worked for WSSC for 25 years.  He was an avid NY Yankees and Washington Redskins fan. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting.  Dale was a Mason, Brunswick Lodge, a life member of the Brunswick Eagles, #1136 and the Moose Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers Jerry and Kevin Hughes and wife Debbie; sister, Joy Cunningham; brother-in-law Tom Wilt.

He was preceded in death by sisters Donna Wilt and Rebecca Gue.

There will be a graveside service at 2PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Brownsville Heights Church Cemetery, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Knoxville, MD 21758.
