Dale Edgeington

Dale Edward Edgeington, 70, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland after a lengthy illness.
Dale was born in Casper, Wyoming to Noel and Lena Edgeington on October 9, 1945. He married Ann O’Brien, originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on December 1, 1967 in Rockville, Maryland. Dale worked in Information Management Security for Navy Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland for twenty-five years. Dale was a veteran of the United States Army and served as a medic in South Korea after the Korean Conflict and during the beginning of the Vietnam War.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Lena Edgeington, and sister, Juanita Holt.
Dale is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Ann Edgeington; his son, Ryan Edgeington; his daughter, Kelly Stultz; son-in-law, Joshua Stultz; three grandchildren: Max Fiore, Lily Stultz, and Eila Stultz; his sister, Noeleen Jones; brother, Craig Edgeington; Michael (Edgeington) Meyers; brothers-in-law, Daniel and John O’Brien; brother-in-law, Jerry Jones; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Nichols.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Boulevard, Mt. Airy, Maryland with the Rev. Tim May officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
