Cynthia Jo "Cindy" (Shepherd) Reichhardt

Cynthia Jo "Cindy" (Shepherd) Reichhardt, 53, of Silver Spring, Maryland entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Born on July 31, 1956, she was the daughter of Joe G. and the late Leila Grace (McMullen) Shepherd.
Cynthia was employee of the World Bank in Washington, DC, where she worked as a Project Manager. She was known for her love of animals and support of the American Humane Society.
In addition to her father and his wife, Barbara L., she is survived by her beloved son, Brendan J. Reichhardt of Silver Spring, Maryland; one sister, Catherine Shepherd of Maine; three brothers, Craig Shepherd and his wife Amy of Suwanee, Georgia, Curtis Shepherd and his wife Stacy of Boonsboro, Maryland, and Kevin Shepherd and his wife Marci of West Friendship, Maryland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Dr. Robert R. Rich will officiate. Interment will follow at Boonsboro Cemetery.
