Cynthia Carter, 63, of Adamstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at  her residence surrounded by her family.

Born on December 10, 1959, in Florida, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Gilbert Mulligan and Ethel Lee (Hardin) Mulligan.

She was the loving wife of the late Norris Carter, Sr.  He passed away in 2006.

She was an Oversight Manager for Hotel Renovations for over 30 years. She was member of Solid Rock Assembly, Point of Rocks, Maryland where she served on the Board of Directors for many years. She loved her cat, Cali, country music, traveling but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her siblings, Donna Aldridge of Florida, Steve Mulligan and wife, Patty of Florida, Terri Klucar and husband, Jay of Florida and David Mulligan and wife Danielle of Colorado; grandchildren Myrissa Carter and Krista Haller; great-grandchildren, Bourbon Haller and Presley Haller; daughter-in-law, Lettie Carter and Cindy's best friend, Treasa Stocks of Maryland; special aunt, Wanda Smithson of Tennessee; uncles Max and Dan Hardin both of Tennessee.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD.

A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at 2:00pm at the funeral home.  Pastor Debbie Gillispi will officiate. 

Interment will follow at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Point of Rocks, MD.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or Solid Rock Assembly Church, 3726 Clay Street, Point of Rocks, Maryland 21777.
