Crystal Lynn Andrew

Crystal Andrew, 71, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. surrounded by her family. 
Born on August 16, 1951, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Anne V. (Snyder) Stine and Alvie F. and his wife, Emma Louise Stine. In 2012, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Andrew, Sr.
She graduated from Catoctin High School in 1969. She enjoyed camping in her younger days. Later in life she enjoyed cook-outs with family and spending time with her 18 grandbabies and 13 great-grandbabies. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, word searches, being outside on a sunny warm day, and having lunch with high school friends.
She is survived by her children, Frank J. Mercer Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of Keymar, Dawn R. Finneyfrock and husband, Keith, of Thurmont, Timothy L. Mercer and wife, Amber, of Waynesboro, PA, Kimberly A. Andrew and husband, Ryan, of Thurmont, Dawn R. Cool and husband, Brian, of Waynesboro PA, David L. Andrew and wife, Debbie, of Thurmont; five sisters and one brother.   
Crystal was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Mercer; and brother, Alvie F. Stine, Jr.   
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Stauffer Funeral Home in Thurmont. Pastor Andy Ficks will officiate. Burial will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Thurmont.
Memorial donations may be made, in Crystal's name to a local daycare center or to the American Cancer Society.
