Crena Spencer Anderson

Crena Louise Cordell Spencer Anderson, age 92, of  Maugansville, MD.  She went to be with the lord on Thursday, September 07, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel D. Cordell and Mary Edith Moats. Crena was preceded in death by her brother Charles William Cordell and wife Doris Almira Grumbine of Waynesboro  PA, brother Chester W. Cordell, brother Donald E. Cordell, sister Mary Eva Cordell and Husband Edward C. Jones. Also preceding her in death were her Husbands, Marvin Franklin Spencer Sr. of Knoxville Maryland and Amos Anderson of Halfway, Maryland; Son Marvin Franklin Spencer Jr and wife Susan Auldridge, both of Brownsville Maryland; and daughter  Susan Jane Spencer Potter of Knoxville Maryland.

Crena is survived by two grandchildren, Russell L. Potter Jr. of Frederick and William F. Potter of Knoxville; and one great granddaughter, Cassie L. Potter of Frederick, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as cousins.
In life Crena was a loving, caring person who loved the Lord.
In times of need Crena stepped up and became a "Rose the Riveter"  supporting her country while her husband fought in the second world war at Pearl Harbor.

Crena was a member of Locust Valley Bible Church in Middletown Maryland.
