Constance {Connie} Michael Turner

Mrs. Constance (Connie) Michael Turner, 89 of Shadywood Drive, Jefferson passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Robert (Bob) Turner in January 1985 and one sister, Aileen Michael Kelley in August 2006.

Born August 29, 1919 in Brunswick, MD she was the daughter of the late Ray Arlington Michael and Louyse Gatrell Michael.

She was a graduate of the old Brunswick High School class of 1937 and attended her 69th class reunion in 2006. She was a retired shop clerk from the B&O and Chessie Railroad System with 37 years of service. She was also a volunteer at the Brunswick Senior Center and loved traveling on bus tours. She was a life member of the First Baptist Church, the Pythian Sisters Temple, Moose Fraternity and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles, all of Brunswick.

She is survived by one sister, Eloise Michael Summers of Berryville, VA, a niece Sandra Baker and husband Maniel of Berryville, VA, a great aunt Wilma Gatrell Smith of La Valle, MD, a nephew Michael H. Kelley and wife Susan of Jefferson, MD, two great nieces, Tracy Kelley Franklin and husband Mike of Middletown, and Tina Kelley Bennett and husband John of Frederick, two great nephews, Scott and Chad Baker of Berryville, VA, several great great nephews and a great great niece, three special friends, Sharon Morgan, Emma Axline and Julie Hipkins.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Victoria Starnes officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mark's Cemetery in Petersville, MD.
