Constance "Connie" Fitzsimmons

Constance "Connie" J. Fitzsimmons, 76, of Myersville, MD passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late James S. Fitzsimmons Jr.
Born February 6, 1941 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late John and Viola Alvey.
Connie worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ft. Detrick. She also enjoyed antiquing and floral design. Connie also worked at Safeway for 10 years which she enjoyed; also she loved spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children James Fitzsimmons III and wife Martha of Boonsboro and Bridget Burge and husband Steven of Middletown and; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her sisters Shirley Norfolk, Carrol Fones, Helen Traicoff, Margie Hughes, Jane Donahue and Louise Hall.
Memorial and Interment will be held at Zion Lutheran Church 107 W. Main St. Middletown, MD 21769
On October 7th 2017 12pm with a Repass afterwards.
