Connie Sexton

Connie Sexton of Boonsboro, MD passed from this life Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.
She was the loving wife of the late Rudy Sexton, her husband of 48 years.

Born July 10,1941 in Olney, MD, she was the daughter of  the late Thomas Edward Moxley and Ruth Virginia (Cornwell) Horn.

Connie Sexton was saved many years ago. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. She loved to play bingo but what she loved most was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Patty Shifflett and husband, Jimmy, Vickie Zawoysky and companion, Dion and Tammy Bibelhauser and husband, Wayne; sons, Mike Sexton and wife,Sharon and Danny Sexton and wife,Connie; grandchildren, Penny Shifflett, Michelle Hall and husband, Steve, Jimbo Shifflett and wife,Stefanie, Robbie Riley and wife, Heather, Justin Zawoysky, Jake Sexton and wife, Danielle, Nicole Mayhew and husband, Justin, Daniel Sexton and wife, Brittany, Ashley Price and husband, Josh, Hailey Sexton, Austin Lynch and wife, Judy, Torrie Walters, Luke Bibelhauser and wife, Kaitlyn, and Rob Bibelhauser; great-grandchildren, Tyler Shifflett, Mikayla Benjamin, Colton Shifflett, Mikey Shifflett, Carter Riley, Maverick Riley, Jax Mayhew, Briella Mayhew, Gracie Lu Walters, Adrianna Sexton, Sterling Sexton, Kason Curtis, Kaden Curtis, Connor Price, Gavin Price; great great-grancdhildren, Athena Shifflett, Elliana Shifflett; sisters, Betty Walters, Linda Robbins and husband, Jimmy and  Sue Brown and husband, Kenny; sisters-in-law, Velma Bowman, Rema Rippon and husband, Bob and Joy Ricketts.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her sister, Ginny Martin and grandson, Mikey Sexton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland 21713.  Due to Maryland State Covid-19 mandate services will be held for immediate family only at 4:00pm. Pastor Michael Bartlett  will officiate and music by Danny Sexton.
