Connie Bowman

Connie L. (McPherson) Bowman, 69, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 30, 2013 at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born on January 3, 1944, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Stevens) McPherson.
Connie worked at various restaurants as a cook.
She is survived by her husband, Marshall F. Bowman, Sr.; one son, Buddy Gordon and wife Michele of Falling Waters, West Virginia; two step sons, Eric K. Bowman and wife Kim, and Marshall F. Bowman, Jr., all of Boonsboro; two sisters, Phyllis Thomas and JoAnne "Dapse" Kelbaugh, both of Hagerstown; one brother, Howard "Skip" McPherson, of Boonsboro; and six grandchildren Michael Gordon, Jade Dover, Cody Bowman, Zachary Bowman, Marshall Bowman, III, and Carol Bowman. She is also survived by one great granddaughter, Trinity.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Pastor Ken Harris will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
