Clyde Stotler, Sr.

Clyde Nevin Stotler,Sr. ,79, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Norma O. Stotler for 57 years.

Born on August 5 1939, in Keedysville, he was the son of the late Charles L., Sr. and Anna Mary (Rudisill) Stotler .

Clyde was employed for 35 years with Lonestar Cement Co. in Hagerstown prior to his retirement in 2001. He loved horses, metal detecting and hunting. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and great-grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Mary McAllister and husband Phil of Hagerstown and Clyde N. Stotler, Jr. and wife Janelle of Hagerstown; grandchildren Chad McAllister, Derrick McAllister, Adam McAllister, Kayla Griffith, Whitney Forester, Jose Stotler, Jared Stotler, Justin Blair, Jackie Wolfe and Jessie Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Skylar McAllister,Grey Abbott, Hannah McAllister, Landon Duttinger, Brayden McAllister, Ava Griffith, Jasmine Blair, Jaden Blair, Jacob Blair, Jevin Blair, Jordan Blair and Jenson Blair; siblings, William Stotler, Betty Flook, Howard Stotler and Harold Stotler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Maria Stotler, Doris Rutherford, Loraine Hargett and Audrey Lowery; and brothers,infant baby boy, Robert, Richard, Edward, Charles, George and Joseph Stotler.

The family will receive friends at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 23 at 11AM.
