Clyde King Huntsberry, age 102, a resident of Williamsport Nursing Home, and formerly of Fairplay, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at the home.
Born April 8, 1905, in Boonsboro, he was a son of the late Henry Earl and Minnie Viola Wilkinson Huntzberry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Rebecca Moats Huntsberry, March 3, 1984.
He retired in 1970 from Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown.
He was a member of St. James Brethren Church.
He was a member of District 12 Vol. Fire Co. in Fairplay, and Antietam Fire Co. in Hagerstown.
He is survived by one daughter, Betty J. Mahaney of Fairplay; one brother, Donald P. Huntsberry of York, PA; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Catherine Gigeous, Ruth Reese and Glendora Aleshire, and one brother, Ralph Huntsberry.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Brian H. Moore will officiate. Entombment will be in Manor Church Cemetery in Tilghmanton.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
