Mr. Clownie "Tony" Earl Reed, Jr., 71 of Thurmont, MD, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Kearneysville, WV.
Born in Poolesville, MD, he was the son of the late Clownie Earl, Sr. and Pearl Pangle Reed.
Mr. Reed served his country in the U. S. Army. In earlier years he was the owner of Reed Construction and later on A.& T Sales. He loved going to and selling at Flea Markets. Tony used to sell his treasures at the Flea Market on Route 15 for many years.
He is survived by his children Glenn Reed and wife Charleen of Smithsburg, Deana Mckendrick and husband Brian of Waynesboro, PA, Toni Smith and husband Brandon of Smithsburg and Joni Reed of Boonsboro, ten grandchildren and a brother Russell Reed of Oregon. He was preceded in death by a son Wayne Reed and a brother David Reed.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, September 8, from 2-4- and 7 - 9:00 p.m., where services will be held Thursday, September 9, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Morrison officiating.
