Clotilda Mateny

Miss Mateny passed away peacefully on October 25, 2017 at Homewood Crumland Farms in Frederick , Maryland. She was 93 years old, the last of her immediate family. She was a graduate of the University of MD. She retired in 1976 from the State of CT where she worked as an Occupational Therapist. After retirement, she worked for Weis Market. She was a member of the Evangelical Reformed UCC Frederick. Dogs were a major part of her life. She was a Charter member of the Catoctin Kennel Club for many years and was a founding member of the Nathan Hale Obedience Club and served in many other Kennel clubs as well. Beagles and Dachshunds were her favorites. There will be a private graveside service.
"If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they are".
