Clementine “Connie” Ciszewski Pelczar, 86, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Golden Living Nursing Home, Frederick, MD. She was born in South Amboy, NJ, and resided in Sayreville, NJ before moving to Frederick, MD in 2002. She was employed by E I DuPont Photo Products for 38 years retiring from the Parlin, NJ facility in 1985. Connie loved gardening and decorating.
She is predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Albert S. Pelczar and her parents Alexander and Alexandra Niedzwiecki Ciszewski. Surviving is her daughter, Judith Richmond son-in-law, Christopher Richmond and two grandsons, Scott Richmond and Tyler Richmond all of Walkersville, MD; her sister Beatrice Harvey of So. Amboy, NJ; sister-in-laws Bernice “Babs” Ciszewski, So. River, NJ, and Stella Janas of Sayreville, NJ; and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
She was also predeceased by her brothers Chester, Edmund, and Leonard; sisters Jenny Merski and Louise Derzawiec; and infant brother Edward.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Living Nursing Facility, Sunrise of Frederick, and Frederick Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, MD on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A funeral mass will held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10:00AM at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD.
Her final resting place will be at Sacred Heart Church cemetery, Parlin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to St Timothy’s Building Fund 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793.
