Mr. Claude Michael Buchanan, 66, of Thurmont, Maryland, died Friday, November 12, 2010 at his home.
Born September 19, 1944 in North Carolina, he was the son of Claude and Ethel Buchanan.
Claude 'Michael' always enjoyed working on his home and spending time on the mountain.
He is survived by two sons Michaelson Buchanan and fiancé Michele Mann of Richmond, Va and Jacquin Buchanan and wife Cleo Dunsmore of Ijamsville a granddaughter Alexandra Buchanan, his companion Amanda Beal, and siblings Ola Jean Seibel, William Buchanan, Woody Buchanan, Lynn Buchanan and Tracy Buchanan, five nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Phillip Buchanan and a sister Lisa Buchanan.
Memorial services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, November 20, at 10:30 a.m. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
Interment will be private
