Mr. Clarence "Tommy" F. Grams, 80, of Frederick, MD passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Valeria Grams.
Born on September 3, 1932 in Washington County, MD he was the son of the late Thomas Franklin and Madeline Springer Grams.
Mr. Grams was a graduate of Middletown High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Tommy enjoyed baseball, traveling, gospel and blue grass music. He sang in the Parkway Church of God choir, was active in scouting troop 274. He worked at American Optical, Roterex, Airpax,and Frederick Board of Education
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Wanda Stull and husband Fred of Frederick, Sharon Swaim and husband Matt of Frederick, Michael Grams and wife Lora and Timothy Grams and wife Janice of PA; grandchildren Lauren, Michael, Nicholas, Jasmine, Sean and Alyssa and one great-granddaughter Kennedi; brothers Vernon Grams of MD, Lesley Grams of Hagerstown and David Grams of WV; sisters Mary Masser of OH, Esther Foster of Hagerstown , Eunice Parsons of WV, Ruth Zepp of Williamsport, MD, Dorothy Gross of Middletown, and Mae Stewart of WV.
He is preceded in death by his brother Howard (Sonny) Grams.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Friday, May 3, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 1PM.
Interment will follow at Samples Manor Cemetery.
