Clara R. Chapman

Mrs. Clara R. Chapman, 90, of Frederick and formerly of Johnstown, PA, died Friday, February 6th, at the Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Walkersville, MD. She was the wife of the late Donald Chapman.
Born in Johnstown, PA on February 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Mary M. (Claffey) and Bernard F. Snyder. She was a former member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Johnstown.
Survivors include her son, Robert Chapman and wife Jane of St. Michaels, MD; four grandchildren Stacy Reno and husband Adam of New Market, MD, Robert Chapman and wife Jennifer of Marina Del-Rey, CA, Tammy Shultz and husband Glenn of Myersville, MD and Kim Elser and husband Troy of Parkton, MD; nine great grandchildren, Addison, Colin, Natalie, Glenn, Kylie, Joe, Landen, Jonathan and Keegan. Clara was the last member of her immediate family and had several brothers and sisters precede her in death.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 11:00 A M at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Walkersville, MD with Father Andy Aaron officiating. Burial will be held on Thursday, at 1:00 PM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Johnstown, PA.
