Claire Neafsey, 85, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, MD
Born on February 25, 1931, in , she was the daughter of Harry Krause and Marie (Doane) Krause.
She worked as a switchboard operator before getting married and enjoyed raising her family and taking care of the home.
Claire also enjoyed bowling, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by daughter, Debra Davis, Sharon Neafsey, Susan Neafsey-Kratz
She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
A celebration of Claire's life journey will take place at 11:00am on Monday, January 23, 2017, at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael's Road in Mount Airy, MD. Father Mike will officiate. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
