February 11, 2015 God called home his precious child, Claire Savon Knight of Jefferson, MD.
Claire was a senior Honor Student at Middletown High School. Her genuine love for life was felt from the moment you entered her presence.
She could light up any room. Her smile radiated from her heart to her face.
Claire’s fun personality could put a smile on anybody’s face. She loved to sing – mostly when no one else was listening! She was an avid reader. She worked part time at smooch! studio and had a true love for beauty and make-up. She found joy in making her friends and family feel beautiful by making them over.
Claire was fluent in American Sign Language.
She planned to attend Towson University in the Fall.
She was passionate about her family and friends and living each day to its fullest. She truly cherished her time with each of them.
Claire’s absence will be felt deeply but her presence will always be with us.
She will be truly missed by her parents, Kendra and Curtis Knight and her brother, Keller of Jefferson, MD ; her sister Casey as well as Casey’s fiancé, Rob Baker who Claire already considered her brother of Middletown, MD.
Her maternal Grandparents, Gloria and Larry Green of Jefferson, MD; and Paternal Grandparents Bobbi Grossnickle of Mt. Airy and Carl & Raetta Knight of Boonsboro, MD;
As well as her many, many Aunts and Uncles and her countless cousins and friends.
May her light shine bright upon us all.

In celebration of Claire’s life, friends will be received on Monday, February 16th at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, MD from 2-4PM and 6-8PM.
A celebration service will be held at International Community Church, 123 Byte Drive, Frederick MD 21702 at 11 am on Wednesday, February 18th. An ASL interpreter will be available for the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made juvenile diabetes at www.jdrf.org (open the menu and select donate).
