Cindy Tennant

Cindy Lee Tennant, 61, of Shepherdstown, passed away on December 27, 2018 at Hospice of the Panhandle. She was wife of the late Ronald Tennant.
Born on January 5, 1957 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Austin and Mary Pauline (Hoffman) Younkins. She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School class of 1975. She worked as a Manager for Eastern Building and Ace Hardware and as a Pharmacy Technician at the Sharpsburg and Boonsboro Pharmacies. She enjoyed bowling and collecting antique cans.
Cindy was survived by her sisters, Belva Hargett and husband Earl of Frederick, Linda Boden of Hagerstown, and Gail Smith and husband David of Boonsboro; brothers, Gary Younkins of Williamsport and Harold Younkins and wife Barbara of Hagerstown; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Alice Hill and LisaMarie Schultz.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Audrey Munson.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD. The funeral service will begin at 11am at the funeral home with interment following at Boonsboro Cemetery.
