Cindy Getsinger

Mrs. Cindy M. Getsinger, 49, of Mt. Airy, died on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at The University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. She was the wife of Richard Getsinger.
Born on June 24, 1961 in Silver Spring, she was the daughter of James D. and Barbara Brown Kaufman of Clarksburg.
She enjoyed gardening, laughing and loved her family. She worked for the Frederick County Public School System and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Libertytown.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are her children; Daniel Getsinger of Mt. Airy, Kathleen Miller and husband Brian of Frederick and Molly Getsinger of Mt. Airy. Also survived by a brother Michael Kaufman, Sister Patricia Reggio and Brother Christopher Kaufman.
Friends may call from 7-9 pm on Thursday August 19, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am on Friday August 20, at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 9190 Church Street, Libertytown, MD. Father Jason Worley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
