Christopher W. Schildt (age 25) of Thurmont, MD on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Loving father Adalyn Schildt; beloved son of Ed and Karen Schildt, Jr.; brother of Collin "Bunk" Schildt; grandson of Frank and Gloria "Jean" Fogle and Ed and the late Jean Schlidt, Sr.; nephew of Blaine and Patty Schildt, Tammy and Allan Patterson, Josh and Nicole Kelley, Christine and the late Glen Fogle, Jim Martin and John Galderise; godson and nephew of Phillip and Beverly Little; also survived by Adalyn's mother, Jayme Zimmerman, special friends Rick, Lisa and Karl and many cousins.
Chris graduated from Catoctin High School 2009 and Shepherd University 2015 and worked for W.F. Wilson and Son. He coached youth baseball, wrestling and high school football.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Wednesday, July 6 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service at Weller United Methodist Church 101 Altamount Street, Thurmont, MD on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11 am. Interment Blue Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his daughter Adalyn at an account set up by PNC Bank.
