Christopher Johnson
August 19, 1980 — January 6, 2018
Christopher Lee Johnson, 37, born August 19, 1980 in Oklahoma City, OK., passed into the loving arms of Jesus on January 6, 2018. He died unexpectedly in Topeka, Kansas.
He was the son of Robert and Lovettia Johnson of Keymar, MD.
Chris graduated from New Life Christian Academy and attended Frederick Community College. He recently worked construction and home improvement.
Chris was very talented and enjoyed sketching and artwork. He enjoyed his many friends and loved his family deeply. He was a free spirit that loved doing things his way.
In addition to his parents are maternal grandmother, Corinne Schwandt of Ada, OK; fraternal grandmother, Sarah Johnson of Frederick, MD; sister, Jennifer Roberts of Rogers, Arkansas; "Big Brother" John Roberts and fiancee Laura Smart of Virginia Beach, VA., "Big Brother" Skip Russell and wife Angie of Topeka, Kansas and "Little Brother" David "Matt" Johnson and fiancee Caroline Pedroza of Woodsboro. He had 9 nieces and nephews, Ariana, Alexis and Ethan Johnson of Woodsboro, Tyler, Taylor and Trace Russell of Topeka, KS, Cullen Roberts of Virginia Beach, VA, Brittany Wells of Edmond, Oklahoma, Ashley Kirkpatrick of Denver, CO. He also had 3 great nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his uncle and maternal and fraternal grandfathers.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. 21702 on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 12:00pm - 2:00 p.m. where services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment Private.
