Mrs. Christina “Chris” Joyce Rupinski Brigerman Anderson, 71 of Frederick, MD.,

Died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Washington Hospital Center. She was the wife of William “Bill” Anderson, her husband of 16 years.

Born April 20, 1940 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Julia Graleski Rupinski.

Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore. She attended St. John’s Catholic Church. Chris’s greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. She will be remembered as a selfless, caring and courageous person.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Kimberly Austin and husband Gregory of Knoxville, grandchildren Tyler, Evan, Grant and Julianne Austin, step-children Kelly Guay and husband Frank of Severn, MD., Andrea Pegg and husband Richard of Ft. Collins, CO, and Stephanie Stamm of Havre de Grace, MD and their children Billy Ludemann, Nicholas Pegg, Benjamin Pegg and Ashley Chess and great grandson Leland Grecco, and her brothers Melvin Rupinski and his wife Carolyn and Richard Rupinski and his wife Karen, along with many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by Thomas Adams and wife Danielle and their children. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ronald Brigerman, Sr (1983), a brother Joseph Rupinski and step-daughter Wendy Spangler.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday December 29, from 2-5 and 6-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s Catholic Church, 112 E. Second Street, Frederick, Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11AM.

Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
