Chester Alan Browning

Chester Alan Browning, 72, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at his home. He was the loving husband of Charlotte Browning.

Born on August 1, 1952, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Chester Ned Browning and Betty Marie (Hall) Browning.

He loved going fishing and being in his boat, working in his yard, creating crafts from wood, and driving 18 wheeler trucks. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Connie Clark of Frederick; and stepchildren, Ray H. Leaman and wife Debrah of Sharpsburg, and Rebecca L. Seekford and husband Kirk of Greencastle, PA. 

He was predeceased by his parents, brother-in-law, Robert Clark of Frederick, and stepson, Daniel Bruce Leaman of Frederick

A celebration of Chester's life journey will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
