Charlotte M. Weddle

Mrs. Charlotte M. Weddle, 86 of Jefferson died on Thursday March 26 at the Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Weddle Sr.
Born in Ijamsville on January 16, 1923.
Mrs. Weddle worked at the former American Optical Company, retiring after 27 years of service. She enjoyed in her later years her daily rides with her son Ron, daughter Jill and granddaughter Cheryl. She loved watching Little House on the Prairie, Walker Texas Ranger and Touched by an Angel.
Survivors are her son Ronald E. Weddle whom she lived with of Jefferson and a daughter Jill D. Eyler and her husband Westley C. of Clifton Heights, PA. One grandson, four granddaughters, including a devoted grand-daughter Cheryl. Ten great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous Nephews, nieces and cousins and her longtime friends Amanda Sanger and Elsie Flynn of Jefferson.
Mrs. Weddle was preceded in death by a son Charles L. Lenny Weddle Jr. and Seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation: Visitation will be on Sunday March 29, 2009 from 2-4pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: Funeral Services will be held on Monday in the Funeral Home chapel at 11:00am. Pastor Joe Ivey will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
