Mrs. Charlotte K. Rupert, 93 of Walkersville, MD, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Golden Living Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Jack Rupert.
Born October 6, 1915 in Mt. Pleasant, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roger Lease and Lenora Alice Crum Kling.
She was a member of the Walkersville United Methodist Church, the Frederick Bridge Club and enjoyed bowling and fishing.
She is survived by her sister Alice Mae Maxell, niece Joan Maxell, nephew Jeff Maxell all of York, PA and great nephew Jeffrey Maxell of Red Lion, PA, her special cousin and care giver Bobbie Bowers. She will also be remembered by her pal and companion Pixie.
She was pre-deceased by a brother-in-law Leslie Maxell.
The family wishes to thank her Doctors, nurses, Golden Living Center, her Church, special members Ann Thompson and dear friend Marie Nicely and other special friends and family.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville on Tuesday, March 10, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Services:
Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, at 11:00 from the Walkersville United Methodist Church, 22 Main Street, Walkersville with Rev. Steven Humphrey officiating.
Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Woodsboro.
