Charlotte D. Lee

Charlotte D. Lee, 90 of Frederick, MD passed away on April 14, 2008. She was the wife of the late William F. Lee, Sr.

Born May 28, 1917 in Middletown, MD she was the daughter of the late Ralph L. and Charlotte O. Fritz.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick.

Charlotte retired from the Frederick County Board of Education after 20 years of service where she was the Cafeteria manager at Urbana Elementary.

She was also a member of the Urbana Homemakers Club and she enjoyed cooking and sewing.

She is survived by her four children, Doris J. Lawrence and husband Michael of Eldersburg, MD, William F. Lee, Jr. and wife Frances of Jefferson, MD, Mark W. Lee and wife Suzanne of Edgewater, FL and Stephen R. Lee and wife Nancy of Urbana, MD, four grandchildren, Katherine M. Lee, William F. Lee III, F. Dustin Lawrence and Michelle L. Schanker, four great grandchildren, Ashlee Lee, R.J. Heino, Jessica Lee and Katrina Shaffer, a brother, Ralph L. Bud Fritz of Pennsylvania and a special niece, Betty Lou Sprankle.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Roland Fritz, Paul Fritz and Page Fritz and two sisters, Geraldine Davis and Marjorie Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be her three sons, William, Mark and Stephen, her son-in-law, Michael, grandsons, William III and F. Dustin and serving as an honorary pallbearer will be her great grandson R.J.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Oravec officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
