Charlotte Ruth Porter

Charlotte Ruth Porter, 91, of Shepherdstown,WV passed away on April 5, 2024, in Frederick, MD. She was born on July 18, 1932, to the late Harry P. and Olive I. Northcraft. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Frederick W. Porter Jr., and her daughters Pamela Niziolek (John), Cyndy Jones, and Amy Lagon (Brian). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Grant and Ross Beehler, Stefan Niziolek, Alexis and Kelsey Lagon, and Porter Jones.

Charlotte was passionate about promoting literacy including being instrumental in founding the Jefferson County chapter of First Books for Babies.  She also found great joy in nurturing her garden and sharing the love of gardening with her community.

Services for Charlotte Ruth Porter will be determined at a later date.
