Charlotte Ruan Craver

Charlotte Ruan Craver, 79 of Frederick, passed away September 12 ,2023.  

She was born February 23rd, 1944 in Frederick Maryland.  She was daughter of Dallas Smith and Marie Smith.  Charlotte made friends everywhere she went.  She had a smile for everyone.  She loved her family and her friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She came from a large family and had 6 siblings.  She was married to Charles R Craver of Frederick for 61 years.  They have 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.  

Charlotte loved gardening, cross word puzzles, and spending time by the water, especially the Chesapeake and Chincoteague Island. She loved cooking and baking for her family. She retired from Frederick County Public Schools where she worked in the school cafeteria.   

She is survived by Husband Charles R Craver, Sister Yvonne Smith Auge, Daughter Laura Stitely and Husband Steve Stitely, Son Robert “Bobby” Craver, Son Charles “Tim” Craver and wife Casey Craver, Daughter Molly Craver and David Beinkampen, Granddaughter Kellie Humphrey, Granddaughter Kelsey Easterday and Husband Chris Easterday and Grandson Sammy Craver of Frederick.
