On Thursday August 23, 2007, Chip Summers of Mt. Airy, Maryland died of cancer.
He was formerly employed as the Vice President of Dynamac Corporation of Rockville, Maryland. He was the past owner of Beaverbrook Inn in Mt. Airy, Maryland, and he was currently employed with CMS Mortgage Brokerage of Mt. Airy, Maryland. He also operated a financial consulting business which included income tax preparation for individuals and businesses. Chip was a graduate of Ben Franklin University. He was a member of the National Guard in the early 70's.
He is survived by two sons, John Wesley Summers of Olney, Maryland, and Brian James Summers of Baltimore, Maryland. He also had a daughter, Rachael Summers, who predeceased him. He is also survived by his brother, Donnie Summers of Hudson, Florida; a sister, Cindy (Merlin) Jacobs of Olney, Maryland; and Uncle, Arthur (Bub) Weidner of Olney, Maryland; and, an Aunt, Barbara Wilkerson of Boonsboro, Maryland. He will be missed and remembered by many loving friends.

Services: A gathering of family and friends will be held at Memories Charcoal House, in Mt. Airy, Maryland on September 15 at 12 Noon. No flowers please.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, Md. 21702, in the name of Charles Summers.
