Mr. Charles Lee Chuck Dalton, 38, of Mt. Airy, died on Friday September 25, 2009. He was the husband of Jennifer Ann Baker Fincham Dalton.
Born on May 7, 1971 he was the son of William Howard Dalton of Louisiana and Judith E. Ballard Parsley and her husband Cecil of Germantown.
Charles was an active member of Hebron Christian Church. He was the head usher and participated in numerous volunteer activities with the youth mission projects and other outside organizations.
He was a carpenter and owned his own business , Imagine Millworks. Charles used his gift of carpentry in constructing props and sets for numerous arts presentations for the church. In addition Charles worked evenings for Montgomery County Public School System.
Charles was known to everyone to be a kind and helpful person who rarely said no when asked to assist others. He had a smile and laugh that would light up a room and brought joy to so many.
He was the father of Charles Lee Jr. and Emmaline E. Dalton.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister Debbie Moser and Fiance David Fraizier. Brothers Bob and Bill Dalton. Aunt Joyce Hilton and nephew Adam Moser. He is also survived by numerous other family members.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Friday October 2, 2009 from 6-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday October 3, at the Liberty Baptist Church, 1200 Madison Street, Lisbon, MD. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hebron Christian Church or to the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Co. Juniors.
