Charles Kemp {C.K.} Norwood, IV

Mr. Charles Kemp Norwood, IV, C. K., of Mt. Airy, MD., died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his home.

Mr. Norwood was born June 21, 1985 in Frederick, MD the son of Charles K, Norwood, III of Mt. Airy and Angela L. Leith and step-father Richard P. Leith of Keedysville.

C.K. attended Mt. Airy Full Gospel School, Chapel Gate School and Glenelg High School. He loved animals and riding ATV's. He leaves behind his two dogs Baxter and Lil Girl.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers Jacob Norwood and Seth Norwood, his paternal grandmother Shirley A. Norwood all of Mt. Airy, his maternal grandparents Susan and Donald Hash of Mt. Airy, his great-grandmother Joy Badger,

Uncle Joseph Tony Norwood and wife Patricia and daughters Katie and Kellie Norwood all of Keymar, MD, Uncle Donnie Hash and Amy of Mt. Airy, and cousin Kyle, cousin Stacy Perry and her husband Mike of Frederick.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Charles Norwood, II, his maternal great-grandfather Frank C. Badger, his uncle William Norwood, and his great grandmother Anne Gue.

Services: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD Saturday, February 21, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Sunday, February 22, at the Mt. Airy Full Gospel Church, 13949 Penn Shop Road, Mt. Airy from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Thomas Gue will officiate.
Interment will be private.
