Charles Eugene Fogle, 92 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Northampton Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Emogene Brandenburg Fogle and Rose Fogle.
Born October 16, 1916 in Frederick, MD he was son of the late Winfield and Susie Eyler.
He was owner and operator of Charles Fogle Painting Company.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a member of the US Army and he served in WWII at Pearl Harbor and in the Invasion of Guadalcanal were he received a Purple Heart and a Silver Star.
He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels and spending time with family.
He was survived by sons Charles Fogle Jr and Jim Fogle, sister Dorothy O'Brien, grandchildren Bill Fogle, Carol Welty, Patty Weddle, Carrie Paquette, and Jamie Rohrback, daughter-in-law and special friend Janice Wisner, and many other great-grandchildren, neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Harvey, Paul, and Edward Fogle, a sister Frances Tucker, daugher Peggy Welty, son Gene Wisner, grandchildren Pete Welty and Sheri Wisner.

Services:
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, November 29, from 9:00-11:00AM where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Barrett officiating.
Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
